Why was The PIT created ?
In 2003, I started my work journey behind the counter at McDonald’s. Back then, I never imagined I’d spend the next 21 years immersed in customer service, business development, and sales. But here we are.
Over the years, I’ve read hundreds of sales books, attended countless workshops, and navigated every emotion you can think of to reach this point. It’s been a journey full of highs, lows, and lessons.
But one thing was missing.
I never had a community—a group of people who truly understood the unique challenges of this field. A space where I could say, “I left work early today because I was feeling down,” without judgment. A place where I could ask, “Why am I struggling with sales right now?” and get real support. A group I could trust to share my wild ideas and get honest feedback.
That’s why I created The PIT. To be the community I wish I had during my career. A space where sales and business development professionals can come together, share, learn, and grow.
